July/August 2014 - Crisis in Gaza events

These regional events took place in July and August on the crisis in Gaza. A ceasefire between Israel and Hamas was reached August 26, 2014.

Monday August 11th, 6pm-8pm, Newark: Dialog and panel discussion on "Understanding the Tragedy of Gaza", 698 Old Baltimore Pike, Newark, 19702, 302-533-8004.  Hosted by Masjid Isa Ibn-e-Maryam. Friday August 8th, 3:30 pm, Wilmington: We're having a second Wilmington rally to call for freedom and justice for Palestine and to stand up for Palestinian human rights. Where: outside Senator Coons's office building located at 1105 N. Market Street. Please RSVP to delnato@gmail.com or to our facebook event. Come and let your voice be heard! Saturday August 2nd, 1:00 pm, Washington, D.C.:  A broad coalition of anti-war, Muslim and Arab-American groups have joined together to organize a national march on the White House. Gather at the White House. Transportation from Wilmington is being organized. For more information, contact DelNATO. The coalition is demanding the U.S. work to stop the massacre in Gaza, end the blockade of Gaza, end all U.S. aid to Israel, and end the occupation. http://www.answercoalition.org/
